In a strange turn of events two accounts have appeared on mastodon.social impersonating me, and also sending direct messages. Why anyone thinks this is worth the time is beyond me.

I've reported both accounts to the server admins.

This is my only personal Mastodon account, and lives on my own instance (thanks to @mastohost). Accept no imitations.
